Take a walk on the North side of Filey Brigg and you'll find Emperor's Pool.  As a kid I used to imagine this pool being filled by a huge sea Emperor (a la King Triton) sitting there in his gigantic bath tub, watching passing ships.  The cool kids at school used to go cliff jumping there.  I was not one of those kids, but did finally go cliff-jumping in my 40's ;)
